Workflow Summary

Complete Internal Process

The entire process in a fixed way does not really exist. However, it is possible to define a general workflow to guide the user and map all processes within the methodologies adopted by the RR team.

During the early stages of a project (prospection phase), which can take over a couple of years, the Initial Project is requested, evaluated and, if of interest, the measurement campaigns begin. As the project matures, more bureaucratic processes and other thecnical analyses are requested to make the project viable.

Some "activities" will be done only once, mostly when the project is in the prospection phase. Other "activities" will be performed multiple times, evolving along with the activities of other DEV teams, eg: Fundiary constraints.

Workflow

In general, the entire workflow, if no re-analyses were needed, would be structured like this:

  1. Create and prepare the directory folder with the Initial Project - [See Details](C-new-projects.md)
  2. Request (if dind't sent) and download the WRG file
  3. test
Inside Windpro
  1. Feed WindPRO with the information provided (environmental constraints, fundiary information, area of interest, WRG...)
  2. Download satellite long term wind data
  3. Calibrate ERA5 data with certified documentation if the points are close
  4. Calibrate WRG file (with external python program) and import again
  5. Design layout with all the data gathered
  6. Run Park Calculation in Windpro
Outside windpro (in-house methodology - SiteAnalyzer)
  1. Create and run the SiteAnalyzer worksheet
  2. Add the recently calculated EYA for the site in the Summary page of the projects (created in step 1)
  3. Propor pontos para instalação das torres e realizar medições por pelo menos 3 anos, caso seja lidar, medições por 6 meses
  4. O time de campo é responsável por verificar os dados das medições....
IDEIAS

Cross prediction is important in the EYA calculation process to undertad the behaviour of the wind and determine the best methodology to address
